Do I need any prior experience?
No prior experience is necessary! We welcome students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners. Our instructors will guide you through the basics and help you progress at your own pace.
What should I wear to class?
Comfortable athletic clothing that allows for movement is recommended. Many students wear:
- Comfortable t-shirt or tank top
- Athletic pants or shorts
- Bare feet (no shoes required)
What will I learn in class?
Our classes include:
- Basic movements and sequences (ginga, kicks, dodges)
- Acrobatic movements (cartwheels, handstands, flips)
- Traditional songs and rhythms

Class Information
How often should I attend classes?
We recommend attending at least 2-3 times per week to see steady progress. However, you can attend as often as your schedule allows.
